About

Michael the Boxer

In 2003 I became a published author/creator of “Boxing the American Martial Art -12 week boxing course.” And again in 2007 with “Boxing Advanced Tactics & Strategies,” available at Barnes & Noble or Amazon.

As a former amateur boxer and professional & amateur boxing coach/trainer with 20-years experience, I am currently holding clinics, teaching boxaerobics, yogabox classes and my program throughout San Francisco, CA. In addition to instructing boxers, I have a diverse background in herbalogy, diet, nutrition and yoga philosophy and asana, which I incorporate into the training.  My opinions have been quoted in national magazines and on the internet.  I was a contributing writer for boxinginsider.

Under my direct mentorship, I developed a Junior Olympic champion in 2003. I had the privilege of attending two World Heavy Weight Champion Lennox Lewis training camps! My talents are not limited to traditional athletes only; I also worked with autistic children resulting in increased coordination, agility and self confidence.

Michael the Barber

As a third generation Master Barber with just under 20 years experience, I bring to the profession a solid foundation of “old school tradition” combined with a modern view of today’s well-groomed man.

After my thorough training in cosmetology and barbering in New York City and New Jersey, I owned and operated three barbershops in Miami and Sarasota, FL. I also was an instructor/educator for a period of time.

My philosophy is to pride myself on attention to detail which enables me to have the dexterity with a straight razor to the face as though it were a pencil and the precision with shears as if the haircut were to last indefinitely! I truly feel as though I am creating “LIVING-ART” through hair.

If you’re looking for a fast haircut, I am not the barber for you. When you’re in my chair, time is of no consequence to me—only the finished product.
